This is an original painting, 18"x12" acrylic and fabric on a 1.5 " deep cradled panel. The sides of this piece are wood that's been sanded and waxed. The painting itself is finished with a UV varnish, to protect the surface and give it a beautiful sheen. The piece is wired and ready to hang on the wall.

This is one of a continuing series of abstract Sutro Tower paintings. They’re inspired by the views I often get walking all around San Francisco, of Sutro Tower peeping out of the fog. I've enjoyed the smaller scale of my "Sutro in Fog" series, and wanted to experiment with going a little bigger. I think the tall size lends even more drama to my favorite tower.
