This is an original painting, 16" x 20" acrylic, crochet lace and vintage fabric on 1.5" deep cradled panel. The sides of this piece are wood that's been sanded and finished with a clear wax, so the piece can be hung without a frame.

"Lullaby" was created for a group show themed around music. From the beginning of infancy, caregivers sing lullabies made of soothing, calming, tones that help a baby or child settle down to sleep. This painting depicts the lilting rhythm of a bedtime song, with gentle pastel colors and deep grounding tones. In it also incorporate circular motifs I crocheted by hand, as well as vintage embroidery on linen. It would look perfect in a nursery or small child’s room.
