This is an original painting, 10"x9" acrylic and fabric on a 1/2" deep dahlia-shaped panel. The sides of this piece are wood that's been sanded and painted buff. The painting itself is finished with a UV varnish, to protect the surface and give it a beautiful sheen. The piece is ready to hang on the wall with a nail or screw, using the slot on the back.

This is one of a series of special dahlia-shaped paintings in a larger continuing series of abstract Sutro Tower paintings. They’re inspired by the views I often get walking all around San Francisco, of Sutro Tower peeping out of the fog.
