This is an original painting, 30"x40" acrylic and fabric on 1.5" deep cradled panel. The sides of this piece are wood that's been sanded and finished, so the piece can be hung without a frame.

"Summer Smoke" is commemorative of the fire seasons we've been getting in California. The sky can turn orange and hazy and everything looks otherworldly. It's an uneasy and oppressive feeling, going out when there's a lot of smoke in the atmosphere, but I wanted to create something reminiscent of it without the ominousness.
